About the position

The Senior Manager - Integration SME (Accounts Payable) will lead the integration of global acquisition systems within the Accounts Payable department. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth integration process while collaborating closely with the A/P Director. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, controls, and business continuity, particularly in integrating A/P processes and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of global acquisition systems, ensuring smooth integration of A/P operations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify potential synergies between merging groups and develop strategies for alignment.
  • Evaluate business continuity considerations and implement best practices for operational stability during integration.
  • Partner with the A/P Director to provide strategic guidance while they manage day-to-day A/P operations.
  • Oversee system integration efforts, ensuring alignment between platforms such as Oracle Cloud, SAP, Coupa, and Concur.
  • Support the reporting of A/P results into a Trial Balance for consolidation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Leverage available playbooks and baselines, adapting processes for successful integration.
  • Apply knowledge of overseas and European finance to address unique challenges in global integration.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing global acquisition integrations within finance and accounts payable.
  • Strong understanding of general finance, financial controls, and system integration.
  • Ability to evaluate and discuss potential synergies, aligning business units effectively.
  • Proven track record of managing integrations across different ERP and finance systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud, SAP, Coupa, Concur).
  • Familiarity with European finance operations and multi-system environments is a bonus.
  • Hands-on project management skills focused on executing complex integrations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with M&A projects within a finance or A/P setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams through complex transitions.
