About the position

The Acquisition Management Analyst position at Serco supports the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office by providing program management support throughout the full acquisition life-cycle of the F-35 program. This role involves managing business operations, foreign compliance, process improvement, cost management, and acquisition tasks. The analyst will work independently under general direction, preparing documentation and interacting with various program offices and contractors to ensure project adequacy and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist DA&A in managing F-35 JPO enterprise-wide procurements and procurement metrics using the Procurement Management Tool (PMT).
  • Plan, execute, and manage procurements, monitor milestones, and manage Procurement Initiation Document (PID) packages using PMT.
  • Support Integrated Product Team (IPT) contract and workload planning, Long Range Acquisition Forecast (LRAF), and Planned Future Actions (PFAs).
  • Provide program management and analysis support in Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) and enterprise earned value management.
  • Assist in small business contracting, scheduling, and enterprise risk management.
  • Manage the PMO Integration Council (PIC) and assist in the task management tool, Enterprise Task Management System Software Solution 2 (ETMS2).

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain an interim Secret Clearance within 90 days and maintain a final adjudicated Secret clearance.
  • On-site support at F-35 JPO in Crystal City, VA for no less than 2 days per week.
  • Two years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning within the last four years.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an Associate degree plus two additional years of experience (six years total).
  • Experience in program management, technical or business analysis in weapon systems acquisition and life-cycle management.
  • Knowledge of the DoD 5000 acquisition series and Federal and DoD acquisition regulations.
  • Experience in program/project status and earned value management (EVM).
  • Familiarity with DoD reporting tools and major reports.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the Procurement Management Tool (PMT) of the Navy NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) suite.
  • Experience using PMT for procurement planning and management tasks.
  • Experience with the Enterprise Task Management System Software (ETMS) for task coordination and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
