About the position

The Acquisition Management Analyst, Senior role involves supporting pre- and post-award Department of Defense (DoD) contracts, specifically for U.S. Navy clients. The position focuses on the acquisition life cycle, ensuring that the needs of the warfighter are met effectively. The analyst will provide comprehensive acquisition and program life cycle support, coordinating with various teams to develop acquisition strategies, manage contract performance, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide acquisition and program life cycle support to U.S. Navy clients.
  • Coordinate with requirements teams, contracting officer representatives, and contracting staff.
  • Assist in the development of acquisition strategies, planning, and execution.
  • Support market research and the development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Monitor and report on contract performance, including tracking obligations, invoices, award fees, and deliveries.
  • Provide expertise on statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting project success.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to obtain concurrence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with DoD acquisition management.
  • Experience working with senior government staff at the program executive officer or project manager level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with the U.S. Navy.
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and the Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Experience with DOD Acquisition Pathways.
  • Knowledge of contract writing systems, including SPS.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong prioritization skills with limited supervision.
  • Attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • CFCM or DAWIA CON Certification.
