About the position

As the Acquisition & Online Media Manager at TheFork, you will play a pivotal role in driving demand for our innovative restaurant discovery and booking app, primarily focusing on the Italian market while also overseeing efforts in the DACH countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Your mission is to enhance app downloads, attract new users, and increase bookings through a variety of digital marketing strategies. You will leverage your expertise in performance marketing to optimize our campaigns and ensure a strong return on investment (ROI). In this role, you will be responsible for managing the performance marketing budget, ensuring that it aligns with the strategies proposed by the Central team. You will conduct real-time monitoring of digital campaigns, including pay-per-click (PPC) advertising on platforms such as Google and Bing, as well as paid social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you utilize tools like Google Analytics, Appsflyer, and our internal analytics tool, Fenix, to track campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations. Collaboration is key in this position; you will coordinate with various stakeholders, including the Brand team, Offer team, and external agencies, to produce compelling content that drives campaign effectiveness. Regular meetings with the Central team and external agencies will be part of your routine, ensuring that all efforts are aligned and optimized for success. Responsibilities

  • Drive demand for TheFork app and website in Italy and DACH countries.
  • Manage performance marketing budget and optimize its impact and ROI.
  • Monitor digital campaigns in real-time, including PPC and paid social media.
  • Hold regular meetings with external agencies and the Central team.
  • Analyze campaign results using tools like Google Analytics and Appsflyer.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for content production to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5 years of higher education and at least 3 years of experience in acquisition marketing.
  • Extensive knowledge of web marketing with a focus on mobile.
  • Strong command of digital marketing levers, especially on social media and Google platforms.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English; German and French are a plus.
  • Analytical skills to monitor results and make recommendations.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and App Marketing tools.
  • Agile mindset with a willingness to learn and test new strategies.
  • Problem solver with a positive attitude and creativity.
  • Team player who is sociable and open to collaboration.
