About the position

The Acquisition/Operations Logistics Manager at Sierra Management and Technologies, Inc. is responsible for leading day-to-day technical and personnel operations for logistics and maintainability programs. This role involves evaluating and improving weapon systems supportability, managing logistics requirements, and overseeing financial analysis related to systems acquisition. The successful candidate will work closely with logistics and maintenance control organizations to ensure effective program management and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the onsite technical and personnel lead for the task order (TO) for each Acquisition Program Manager Lead (APML).
  • Perform tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability or maintainability programs.
  • Work on logistics and maintainability programs, addressing technical evaluation and identification of logistics requirements and resources.
  • Develop logistics support and maintainability programs or plans.
  • Conduct systems acquisition requirements analysis and budgetary or financial analysis and control.
  • Manage life cycle cost (LCC) analysis and control.
  • Ensure weapons systems hardware (HW) and software (SW) standardization and compatibility.
  • Plan and execute Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program testing and evaluation.
  • Collect, compile, analyze, and apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.
  • Develop and validate documentation for automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems.

Requirements

  • MS or MA Degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • At least ten (10) years of professional experience in Acquisition Logistics Support or Maintenance Engineering.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in operations of systems in the field or maintenance of systems in the field.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team in a high visibility, fast-paced environment.
  • At least five (5) years of experience leading people and teams.
  • At least three (3) years of experience managing programs.
  • Experience working on logistics and maintainability issues, including technical evaluation and identification of logistics requirements.
  • Ability to collect and analyze logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data from Navy logistics and maintenance data information systems.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
