About the position

The Acquisition Program Management Professional, Senior at HX5, LLC is responsible for overseeing the planning, research, analysis, and assessment of system acquisitions related to weapons systems and associated equipment. This role involves formulating effective strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives while supporting the development and maintenance of various acquisition reports and program management documentation. The position requires collaboration with senior management and stakeholders to ensure successful program execution and compliance with Department of Defense policies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition for weapons systems and associated equipment.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of acquisition reports such as the Monthly Acquisition Report (MAR) and Selected Acquisition Report (SAR).
  • Support and develop briefings and schedules of program status and acquisition tasks for senior management.
  • Develop, maintain, and update program Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Analyze prime and subcontractor IMP/IMS for program execution improvement.
  • Support implementation of Agile software development processes with government and contractors.
  • Plan and implement program acquisition strategies in accordance with DoD 5000.2 guidance.
  • Prepare program management documentation for all phases of the acquisition life cycle.
  • Support the development of draft RFPs including systems specifications and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL).
  • Conduct Business Case Analyses and develop programmatic Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Assist the program manager in assessing program schedules and cost baselines, recommending solutions to issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and twenty-five (25) years of professional experience; OR a Master's degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
