About the position

The Acquisition Program Manager for Curriculum Development will play a crucial role in supporting the Department of Justice's Acquisition Career Program (DOJ ACP). This position involves developing training content, administering mentorship programs, tracking professional training needs, and facilitating recruitment and retention efforts for entry-level acquisition professionals. The role is essential for ensuring the success of the DOJ ACP and its participants through effective program management and documentation of achievements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of structure and training content for the DOJ ACP.
• Administer an 1102 Mentor/Protege Program, maintaining information on participating mentors and proteges.
• Track the needs of FAC-C Professional training for entry-level individuals in the DOJ ACP.
• Monitor each individual's status in the program, including experiences, rotations, and training completions.
• Recommend options for DOJ-sponsored training for FAC-C Professional training or Credentials training.
• Facilitate responses to government-wide data calls related to recruitment and retention of entry-level 1102s.
• Create and maintain a digital presence for the DOJ ACP and its participants.
• Promote and oversee participation in cohorts, networking events, and group activities under the DOJ ACP.
• Prepare materials for program execution activities and internal working groups.
• Document achievements and successes of the DOJ ACP and its participants.

Requirements

• Able to obtain a Public Trust.
• FAC-C Level III or DAWIA Level III certification (preferred).
