About the position

The Acquisition Program Manager Executive Advisor at Stellar Solutions plays a crucial role in supporting the US Space Force in developing and deploying warfighter capabilities. This position involves providing expert advice on acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and execution for various programs within the Space Sensing Portfolio. The role requires a deep understanding of DoD acquisition processes and the ability to communicate effectively with government program managers and technical personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert assistance and advice to Government Program/Project Managers regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and execution.
  • Draft necessary acquisition and funding documentation such as RAD, ASP, ASD, J&A, and Source Selection Strategy.
  • Assist technical personnel in developing statements of work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), and other source selection documents.
  • Function as a non-voting advisor to government source selections and support the drafting of technical evaluations.
  • Assess technical sufficiency, cost, quality, and timely delivery of program deliverables across multiple efforts.
  • Advise and assist the government customer regarding funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
  • Draft, review, and edit program reports, documents, and briefings as required to support the government customer.
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy in both oral and written forms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience with DoD Acquisition Management.
  • Experience with Federal DoD Acquisition Procurement policies and procedures.
  • Experience with Space development programs in the DoD.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret level clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in business or business management.
  • APDP Program Management Functional Area Certification.
  • Industry Professional Certification (e.g., PMI PMP).
  • Experience within the National Security Space domain, specifically OPIR experience.
  • Experience working in a development environment or U.S. Government weapons system program office.
  • Clearable to TS/SCI.
