About the position

As the Acquisition Program Manager at Serco, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Airborne High Frequency Radio Modernization program. This position is based at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia and is crucial for the planning and implementation of all AN/ARC-260 High Frequency radio development, production, and sustainment activities. Your efforts will directly contribute to the fielding of 2.5K radios across 14 aircraft platforms and the activation of organic depot operations at the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex. In this role, you will be responsible for directing, developing, and performing various program management functions. This includes planning, coordinating, and evaluating acquisition actions that support specific missions and weapons systems. You will prepare and coordinate program-level documentation for milestone and acquisition reviews, ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place for successful project execution. Your responsibilities will also encompass the planning, management, and coordination of follow-on development efforts for assigned systems or subsystems. You will prepare and coordinate funding documents for contract awards, which includes monitoring, oversight, and approval of funding milestones. Conducting periodic independent systems evaluations will be a key part of your role, allowing you to develop recommendations for system improvements based on thorough studies and analyses. You will monitor compliance with organizational and contractor performance criteria, collaborating with various personnel to integrate operations and interests across different organizations. Your problem-solving skills will be essential as you gather facts and develop appropriate solutions to critical issues that arise. Additionally, you will utilize conflict resolution leadership to achieve agreement on required actions and schedules related to program or policy matters. As an independent performer, team member, or team lead, you will manage the product's life cycle from design to disposal, directing resource allocation to meet schedule milestones. Building strong business relationships with suppliers and clients will be vital, as you will need to understand and meet client needs effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to maintain/transfer an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Capability to work with functional groups and integrate hardware, software, and automatic test equipment.
  • Experience with DoD and Air Force Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution process.
  • Experience managing contract cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Experience managing and forecasting fiscal year budgets and spend plans.
  • Experience with Management Acquisition Reporting.
  • Experience with Depot Activation and Depot Maintenance Activation Working Groups.
  • Experience with 12 Logistics elements including planning, implementing, executing, and documenting.
  • Experience with platform integration across various departments.
  • Experience reviewing deliverables and documenting administrative, substantive, and critical comments.
  • Experience with contract requirements including SOW and CDRLs.
  • Ability to travel 10%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AN/ARC-190 or similar High Frequency Radio system.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Ability to generate and present PowerPoint presentations.
  • Capability of generating background/point papers.
