About the position

The Acquisition Program Manager will lead activities in support of the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) capability and program management within the Acquisition Integration and Interoperability (AI2) Office of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD (A&S)). This role involves planning and documenting experiments and exercises, designing schedules and product roadmaps, and performing requirements planning to ensure effective capability delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Leads activities in support of the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) capability and program management.
  • Designs and updates schedules and product roadmaps.
  • Defines test and evaluation (T&E) criteria, measures of effectiveness, and threshold/objectives for assessing capability maturity and delivery against cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Performs gap analysis, analysis of cost schedule and performance drivers, and develops a roadmap for the Integrated Acquisition Portfolio Review (IAPR).
  • Supports engineering studies to assess technology readiness and evaluates risk factors including technical maturity, reliability, and suitability.
  • Develops system interdependencies, analysis of alternatives, and acquisition recommendations.
  • Researches government and commercial sources for system components and life cycle support issues.
  • Supports quarterly Program Management Reviews and facilitates execution support.
  • Gathers requirements and assists in oversight of project cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Assists team members in other tasks and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) capability and program management
  • Experience planning and documenting experiments and exercises that will inform capability delivery
  • Experience designing and updating schedules and product roadmaps
  • Experience defining test and evaluation (T&E) criteria, measures of effectiveness, and threshold/objectives for assessing capability maturity and delivery against cost, schedule, and performance
  • Experience leading and managing teams
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to uphold a strict level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to take a conceptual discussion and build a presentation to convey the message
  • Highly motivated professional capable of managing demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage
  • Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient in MS Teams, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or field
