About the position

FanDuel Group is seeking an Acquisition Strategy Manager to support the strategic growth of new customer acquisition for our Daily Fantasy and New Ventures products. This role is pivotal and high-profile, providing the opportunity to significantly impact the business outcomes for FanDuel Group. As an Acquisition Strategy Manager, you will serve as a campaign manager responsible for overseeing customer acquisition marketing activities, which include analyzing new user volume, value patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will be expected to provide regular updates on trend drivers, both short-term and long-term, to inform leadership decisions. In this position, you will work cross-functionally with various teams to drive customer growth through innovative offer enhancements and creative strategies. You will forecast the volume of new players by analyzing historical data while incorporating knowledge of trends and calendar changes. A critical aspect of this role is to consistently challenge existing ways of working to raise standards and improve performance. You will lead interdepartmental collaboration with various cross-functional teams to drive and forecast customer growth, ensuring that all efforts align with the overall business strategy. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a campaign manager responsible for overseeing customer acquisition marketing activity inclusive of new user volume and value patterns and KPIs.
  • Provide regular updates on trend drivers on both short-term and long-term outlooks to inform leadership.
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to drive customer growth through innovative offer enhancements and creative strategies.
  • Forecast volume of new players by analyzing historical data and incorporating knowledge of trends and calendar changes.
  • Consistently challenge ways of working to raise standards and improve performance.
  • Lead interdepartmental collaboration with various cross-functional teams to drive and forecast customer growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, consulting or related field with a focus on quantitative analysis.
  • Managerial or mentorship experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills; Proficiency in SQL preferred.
  • Comfortable managing concurrent projects in an ever-evolving, fast-paced landscape.
  • Proven growth mindset; Product-led, data-driven, and highly creative.
  • Results-oriented, metrics-driven, objective, and continuously seeking improvement of marketing efforts to increase quality and productivity.
  • Ability and eagerness to effectively balance the big-picture strategic work with execution.
  • Ability to interface with a wide range of internal teams and ability to build strong relationships internally.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, project management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Knowledge or understanding of the business and culture of sports and gaming preferred.
