About the position

Coastline Academy is seeking an Acquisition Success Manager to join our team, a critical role that focuses on the seamless integration of acquired driving schools into our existing systems and processes. As the largest behind-the-wheel driver education company in the United States, Coastline operates in eight states and is actively expanding. Our mission is to eliminate car crashes by equipping students with the skills to be safe and confident drivers for life. This position is remote, with travel required up to 50% to various driving school locations. In this role, the Acquisition Success Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for sellers and their employees after a transaction. This individual will address any questions or concerns related to the integration process, ensuring that all parties feel supported and informed. A deep understanding of Coastline Academy's systems and processes is essential, as the manager will provide accurate information and guidance to sellers and their employees. The Acquisition Success Manager will also become a product expert on Coastline's proprietary Dash software and other commonly used software platforms in the driver education industry. This expertise will enable the manager to conduct effective training sessions for acquired employees, ensuring they are well-versed in Coastline's policies and procedures. Additionally, the manager will assist in transferring existing contracts and services from acquisitions to Coastline, collaborating with internal teams to facilitate smooth transitions and integrations. Basic financial knowledge will be beneficial during the integration process, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the business operations involved.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for sellers and their employees post-transaction, addressing any questions or concerns related to integration into Coastline Academy
  • Develop a deep understanding of Coastline Academy's systems and processes to provide accurate and helpful information to sellers and their employees
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with acquired company employees to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Become a product expert on Coastline's proprietary Dash software and other commonly used software platforms in the driver education industry and conduct training
  • Help to transfer existing contracts and services from acquisitions to Coastline
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions and integrations
  • Utilize basic financial knowledge as needed during the integration process

Requirements

  • 2+ work years of experience in an account management, sales role or similar experience
  • Strong communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and a willingness to assist and support others
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Tech-savvy: Proficiency in Slack, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
  • Willingness to travel intermittently as required
