About the position

The Acquisition Support Manager at Credence Management Solutions is responsible for providing program management support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Tinker Air Force Base. This role involves defining, documenting, and tracking capabilities and requirements for the Engine CIP program, coordinating communication, and supporting acquisition strategy development. The manager will also prepare necessary documentation for various acquisition processes, monitor financial obligations, and conduct assessments related to cost, budget, and schedule implications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management support to define, document, and track capabilities and requirements for the Engine CIP program.
  • Support the Government CIP program manager in implementing the annual requirements generation process.
  • Coordinate and communicate the annual battle rhythm guiding a CIP requirement from conception to approval.
  • Define the scope of engine issues and prioritize them for investigation and resolution.
  • Support acquisition strategy development for new engine, modification, or retrofit requirements.
  • Prepare plans and documentation for Material Development Decision (MDD) and other acquisition processes.
  • Review and edit acquisition documentation throughout the engine life cycle management phases.
  • Develop and prepare briefings for program status review and approval by the Government program manager.
  • Assist in developing funding requirements and programming of funds for program implementation.
  • Monitor financial obligations and expenditures to ensure activities are executed on cost and schedule.

Requirements

  • Master's degree and ten (10) years of relevant experience OR BA/BS degree and twelve (12) years of relevant experience OR fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with AFMAN 20-116 and DoDI 5000.2, as well as other applicable DoD and Air Force acquisition policies.
