About the position

The Acquisitions Business Analyst, Senior role involves supporting Research and Development (R&D) efforts within the intelligence community. The position requires collaboration with Contracting Officer's Technical Representatives (COTRs) to provide acquisitions and business management expertise, ensuring effective execution of R&D programs. The analyst will engage with various business units to prepare and coordinate essential contracting materials and maintain relationships with stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with COTRs to support R&D programs.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of contracting materials such as SOWs, PWSs, D&Fs, acquisition plans, and proposal evaluation criteria.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively and brief senior leadership on complex issues.
• Analyze financial performance and expenditures related to acquisition activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business operations or business management supporting acquisition and contract management activities in the intelligence community.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams and building networks within the organization and across the intelligence community.
• Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle, including BAAs, RFPs, RFIs, Grants, Cooperative Agreements, and source selection processes.
• Ability to assess funding needs and develop executable spend plans over multiple contracts and years.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with COGNOS, BASIS, and BASIS Contract Request (BCR).
