About the position

The Acquisitions Logistics Manager at Credence Management Solutions is responsible for supporting the Headquarters Air Force Material Command Directorate of Logistics at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This role focuses on optimizing supply support for acquisition logistics, supply management, and logistics operations, ensuring effective resource utilization and operational readiness for the warfighter.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Government with management and conduct of enterprise asset management program tasks to optimize supply support and costs.
  • Support development of supply policy and maintain automated tools, user guides, and handbooks.
  • Track and maintain currency of policy and procedural publications.
  • Conduct procedural reviews on existing materiel management systems and supply chain processes; develop new procedures and recommend changes for inclusion in relevant publications.
  • Support development and implementation of contractor-supported weapon system programs and integration of supply support assets into the AF supply support structure.
  • Ensure ILS-S objectives are considered on assigned programs and projects.
  • Participate in development of plans to consider all factors impacting supply chain management (SCM).
  • Provide AO support regarding life cycle cost and optimal resource use without degrading operational readiness.
  • Coordinate and integrate all aspects of logistics management to assist in SCM activities and program development.
  • Assist in conducting a supply chain metrics program and maintain its relevance as the AF transforms its supply system.

Requirements

  • Experience in logistics management and supply chain processes.
  • Knowledge of AF, DoD, and AFMC supply chain and logistics publications.
  • Ability to develop and implement logistics policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills to support supply chain metrics and performance measurement.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with contractor-supported weapon systems.
  • Familiarity with enterprise asset management programs.
  • Knowledge of life cycle cost analysis.
