About the position

The Acquisitions Logistics Specialist (Journeyman role) at CSEngineering is responsible for providing strategic acquisition and logistics support to the Space Systems Command (SSC). This role involves improving current capabilities through process standardization and innovative technical solutions, as well as generating technical Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) requirements. The specialist will work closely with various programs and systems to enhance integration and mission effectiveness through Modeling and Simulation (M&S).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic acquisition and logistics support to the SSC for IT hardware, software, equipment, and system components.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Cost Estimates, Projections, and Spend Plans, including support for program budgeting.
• Forecast and track new requirements, renewals, supplies, and other items as directed by the SSC TPOC.
• Follow SSC Configuration Management (CM) procedures and coordinate with Government equipment management personnel.
• Coordinate delivery of equipment from suppliers to SSC performance locations.
• Comply with property accountability activities and ensure equipment is processed through inventory accountability processes.
• Report movement, replacement, and disposition of accountable equipment to the Government property management hand-receipt holder.

Requirements

• Current Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Acquisitions logistics support in the DoD.
• Experience developing Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSP) and supportability milestones.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition, maintenance requirements, and organizational functions involved in logistical support.
• Ability to develop and analyze data to determine logistic objectives and goals.
