About the position

Advantest America Inc. is looking for a skilled Software Solution Architect to join the ACS US team, which focuses on integrating semiconductor test and measurement solutions using cloud, AI, and data analytics technologies. The role involves designing and deploying scalable applications, collaborating with engineering teams, and engaging with customers to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications.
• Architect enabling GPUs as first-class resources in container orchestrators such as Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with software architects to influence design decisions.
• Work with software engineering teams to ensure designs are incorporated into products.
• Communicate results and technical concepts clearly and credibly.
• Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with project leads and customers.
• Recommend implementation methods based on application and customer needs.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in design or architecture in cloud computing, AI/ML frameworks, or MLOps.
• Strong background in Cloud Computing or Distributed Software design and development.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to quickly understand complex systems and translate software requirements into clear definitions.
• Experience working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong understanding of Container Orchestration Systems (K8s) and Container Technology.
• Understanding of performance, security, and reliability in complex distributed systems.
• Experience with advanced software security techniques and Security Architecture Design, including zero trust and Cryptography.
• Industry and research experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
