About the position

GTS Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior Active Directory Expert for a 2-3 month contract in Georgetown, Texas. This hybrid position requires the candidate to work in the office 2-3 days a week, with some after-hours and weekend work as needed. The role focuses on managing and optimizing Active Directory environments, integrating Azure Active Directory, and ensuring secure communication through certificate authority management.

Responsibilities

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory services
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Active Directory with other systems
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations
• Ensure security protocols are followed to protect Active Directory data

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in cloud architecture
• 8 years of experience with Microsoft Exchange
• 8 years of experience with Active Directory
• Expertise in administering and optimizing Active Directory environments
• Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory and coding within it
• Proficiency in managing SSL and certificate authority
