About the position

The Houston family is seeking a full-time Nanny/Household Manager to care for their three energetic boys aged 5, 7, and 9. The role involves not only childcare but also managing household tasks, ensuring a balance between fun activities and educational support, particularly for the oldest child who has dyslexia. The ideal candidate should be proactive, reliable, and able to keep up with the family's active lifestyle, which includes outdoor adventures and fitness activities. The position requires flexibility for travel and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Caring for three boys aged 5, 7, and 9, providing engaging activities and educational support.
• Planning and organizing fun and creative activities for the children.
• Managing household tasks such as inventory tracking and light maintenance.
• Running errands, including dry-cleaning pick-up and drop-off.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the children.
• Traveling with the family for various activities and holidays.

Requirements

• BA/BS college degree or AA in a related field of study.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed).
• Two or more years of childcare experience.
• Excellent work and personal references.
• U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position.
• Competent swimmer.
• Non-smoker.
• Willingness to undergo an extensive background check.
• Proof of immunizations.

Nice-to-haves

• Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus.
• Experience with children with learning disabilities, particularly dyslexia.
