The Activities Assistant at Tutera Senior Living & Health Care plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting the Activities Director in planning and implementing engaging activities and recreational services tailored to individual needs and interests. Responsibilities
- Assist the Activities Director in assessing, selecting, organizing, and implementing activities for residents.
- Engage residents in recreational services that meet their individual needs and interests.
- Maintain a professional image in both appearance and behavior while interacting with residents and staff.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding activities and events.
Requirements
- A passion for working with seniors.
- Prior experience as an Activities Assistant in a long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facility (SNF), assisted living (AL), or memory care (MC) setting preferred.
- Activities Certification preferred.
- One year of experience conducting activities and recreational services within the past five years preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
