About the position

The Activities Director / Member Advocate at Longevity Health is responsible for enhancing the quality of life for older adults in long-term care settings. This role involves engaging members through interactive music sessions, facilitating social interactions, and assisting patients in utilizing their health plan benefits. The position emphasizes building relationships with members and collaborating with care facility staff to promote overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interactive social music groups that include music, movement, and trivia.
• Meet with members one-on-one to build relationships and assist them in ordering health plan-provided supplies.
• Engage members in conversation to enhance their quality of life.
• Develop and maintain relationships with care facility activities and clinical staff.
• Travel to assigned facilities on a scheduled basis, with mileage reimbursement provided.
• Utilize provided materials to facilitate group music sessions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, engaging personality.
• Desire to support a vulnerable population.
• Ability to facilitate group music sessions using provided materials.
• Auto liability insurance with minimum coverage limits of $100,000/$300,000 for bodily injury and $100,000 for property damage.
