About the position

The Actuarial Analyst 2, Risk and Compliance plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing actuarial activities related to risk identification and management. This position involves analyzing potential risks, estimating financial consequences, and developing controls to minimize those risks. The analyst will assess and communicate actuarial and business risks across the organization, providing peer review and counsel on regulatory practices, particularly in relation to Medicare Advantage and actuarial science. The role is integral to ensuring compliant bid submissions that positively impact Humana's financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support Humana's MA-PD and PDP bid filings by interpreting and implementing CMS guidance.
  • Participate in CMS audits and reviews related to Humana's Medicare bids.
  • Create and maintain process improvements for bid filings to enhance compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel
