Responsibilities

• Study for and pass SOA exams.
• Assist with data collection required to support the work of the department.
• Provide general actuarial support to supervisor and other functional areas.
• Develop a fundamental understanding of actuarial models, including inputs and calculations.

Requirements

• General knowledge of the life insurance industry and practices.
• Knowledge of actuarial guidelines and the Code of Professional Conduct.
• Understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with products and administration systems.
• Knowledge of SOA examination structure.
• Ability to solve problems, analyze, and reconcile results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
