About the position

The Actuarial Analyst II is an individual contributor role responsible for supporting the organization in assessing financial risks, reviewing actuarial documentation, and conducting product line evaluations. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to solve business problems and ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for researching and determining the likelihood of financial risk to the organization.
• Review actuarial documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in product line evaluations by analyzing financials, pricing, reserves, and cash flow.
• Conduct actuarial research and literature reviews with limited direction.
• Analyze financial risks and opportunities using basic actuarial methods.
• Translate actuarial constructs into non-technical explanations for business partners.
• Learn and use actuarial models, assisting with forecasts and validating data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of actuarial experience.
• Passed at least 4 actuarial exams toward ASA or ACAS certification.
