Responsibilities

• Analyze financial, statistical, and mathematical data to identify trends driving business outcomes.
• Assist in determining reserves and cash flow projections for quarterly reserve reviews.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather information and prepare materials for meetings.
• Monitor trends and develop recommendations within specific product lines or business segments.
• Prepare standard and special reports for management as needed.
• Maintain documentation of actuarial methods used.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Entry-level position, typically requiring up to two years of experience, including progress toward actuarial accreditation with one to three successfully completed CAS exams.
• Knowledge of core functions of an insurance company and general insurance concepts.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external business partners.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound business decisions based on actuarial analyses.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
