About the position

Milliman's CMH Health Practice is seeking Actuarial Analysts to join their dynamic and growing team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in various areas within the healthcare industry, collaborating with leading experts. The role involves performing data analysis and participating in consulting activities related to healthcare financing and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis using Excel, SAS, and proprietary Milliman programs for healthcare consulting.
• Participate in consulting activities including pricing, reserving, financial projections, model development, forecasting, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Review the work of peers and assist with research and product development.
• Coordinate with Consultants, Managers, Professional Staff, and Interns to present client reports and deliverables.
• Conduct the majority of technical work, including data analysis, actuarial calculations, and model development.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and SAS.
• Experience in data analysis and actuarial calculations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting reports and deliverables.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with healthcare segments such as Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and Long Term Care.
• Experience with actuarial modeling and forecasting.
