About the position

The Actuarial Analyst 2, Pricing at Humana is responsible for setting pricing and forecasting assumptions, modifying existing models, and communicating results with key stakeholders. This role involves providing guidance to Product Development on new product/benefit cost impacts and developing pricing tools for standard and custom benefits. The analyst will analyze market-level financial metrics to align with profitability goals and recommend pricing actions based on market projections and experience data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze A:E drivers of supplemental benefits and recommend changes to forecasted financials
• Collaborate with key business partners to understand changes to benefits and member level considerations
• Modify & update complex models to meet forecasting needs
• Prepare analysis and provide insights during regular forecasting cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
