About the position

The Actuarial Analyst I position at Everest Global Services, Inc. is a hybrid role within the Reinsurance Pricing Department, focusing on supporting the Latin America book of business. The role involves conducting actuarial pricing analyses, profitability reviews, and collaborating with various teams to develop and enhance pricing models. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in property and casualty actuarial pricing, particularly in large accounts or reinsurance, and requires fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with other actuaries and underwriters in support of our Latin America book of business
• Performing transactional actuarial pricing analyses
• Conducting lines of business studies and profitability reviews
• Working closely with the Solutions team to develop and test new models related to reinsurance pricing
• Improving existing models and ensuring consistency across International branches

Requirements

• 1-3 years of P&C actuarial pricing experience, preferably in large account or reinsurance pricing
• Experience in Latin America and/or Caribbean markets is ideal
• 2-5 actuarial exams completed and pursuing credentialing in the Casualty Actuarial Society
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R is preferred
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong business-oriented focus, motivated, self-directed, organized, and analytical
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
