About the position

CNA Insurance is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to provide actuarial support and research for a P&C pricing team focused on Medical Professional Liability coverage across various Healthcare products. This role involves analyzing financial and statistical data, assisting in pricing projections, and collaborating with business partners. The position offers participation in CNA's Actuarial Education Program and a hybrid work schedule, allowing for remote work with one day in the office each week.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial, statistical, and mathematical data to identify trends driving business outcomes.
• Assist in determining pricing projections to support pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather information and prepare materials for meetings.
• Monitor trends and develop recommendations within a specific product line or business segment.
• Prepare standard and special reports for management as needed.
• Maintain documentation of methods used in analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Entry-level new graduates to 4 years of experience considered.
• Progress toward actuarial accreditation with one or more successfully passed CAS exams.
