About the position

Telos Actuarial, LLC is seeking a dedicated Actuarial Analyst to join our actuarial consulting practice in Omaha, NE. In this role, the successful candidate will leverage their analytical and technical skills to assist our clients in analyzing critical metrics such as customer retention, lifetime value, and projected future commission cash flows. This position is integral to our operations, as it involves organizing and analyzing data across various environments and developing database applications that enhance our service delivery. The Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the company’s databases, which includes streamlining and automating internal processes, procedures, and reporting functionalities. The role also entails preparing persistency studies and commission appraisals, which are essential for our clients' strategic decision-making. Additionally, the analyst will assist with market research activities, translating complex information into marketable tools that can be utilized by our clients. The position requires a proactive approach to support the company through the development of reports, applications, and other necessary activities to meet and exceed client expectations. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in data analytics and be comfortable working with SQL and Microsoft Office applications. The ideal candidate will be a highly driven self-starter with a strong desire to challenge themselves and deliver exceptional results. Teamwork is crucial in this role, as building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and clients is essential.
