Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an Actuarial Intern to join our Life Product, Risk & Data team! This is a paid internship and the working hours are 37.5 hours per week during the summer months. Work from home may be available up to two days a week once trained to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and assist the team with the development of our internal risk and governance tool
- Assist with product testing
- Create and maintain various reports within the department
- Assist with competitive intelligence reporting
- May be called upon to handle other duties as required to support Life Product, Risk & Data team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Mathematics, Finance, or Actuarial Science program
- Proficient Microsoft Excel and Access skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-haves
- Actuarial exam experience not required but preferred
