About the position

The Actuarial Products & Platforms Configuration Insurance Manager at Accenture is responsible for leading the design and configuration of software implementations for life and annuity products within the Accenture Life Insurance & Annuity Platform (ALIP). This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their product requirements and translating them into effective ALIP configuration designs, ensuring alignment with business processes and integration needs. The position requires a strong background in life insurance and annuity products, along with technical expertise in product development and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Support design and configuration of software implementations for life and annuity products in ALIP.
• Interact with client companies to understand their products and recommend implementation strategies in ALIP.
• Gather and analyze requirements, and design configuration to meet business process and application requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy ALIP and surrounding solutions.
• Manage product configuration development using Product Development Management methodologies.
• Conduct detailed analysis and testing to ensure quality and integrity of the application.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience with individual life insurance and annuity product design.
• Minimum 3 years' experience implementing individual life insurance and/or annuity products in administrative or illustration systems.
• Minimum 1 year past experience with any US-based life insurance and/or annuity administration system like ALIP or working on the product team of a US carrier.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum 3 years' experience in business consulting or technical consulting.
• Completion of one or more actuarial exams.
• Familiarity with group insurance.
