About the position

The Actuary position at DW Simpson involves providing business leadership and analytical expertise for significant strategic initiatives within one of the nation's largest and fastest-growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms. The role focuses on conducting trend analysis, forecasting, and modeling, particularly in the area of commercial casualty lines, with a strong emphasis on Workers' Compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide business leadership and analytical expertise for strategic initiatives.
• Conduct trend analysis and forecasting.
• Develop and implement actuarial models.
• Oversee process management related to actuarial functions.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives.

Requirements

• ACAS/FCAS designation required.
• 10+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in commercial casualty lines.
• Experience in Workers' Compensation law is essential.
• Strong technical skills in VBA and SQL.
