About The Position

The Actuary position at the U.S. Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) involves serving as an actuarial expert and advisor to the agency's leadership team. The role is responsible for preparing actuarial estimates and analyses related to workers' compensation programs, analyzing complex actuarial problems, and conducting expert research to provide recommendations on data validity and analytical methodologies. The actuary will also participate in the development of software applications to support policy working groups and ensure the proper development and maintenance of actuarial liability models for OWCP's compensation funds.
