About the position

The Enrollment Trainer will lead in the overall training, delivery, curriculum design, development, layout and implementation of all ongoing training needs for the department. This will entail but not limited to providing management support, administration, and guidance to the Enrollment Department, and working with the Quality Control Team. Responsibilities include researching trends, topics and best practices to develop and deliver training programs, communicating with management to understand changes in policies and procedures, coordinating training programs across multiple departments, and developing workflow schedules. The trainer will also analyze training needs, ensure compliance with company processes, and maintain the quality of task expectations. The role requires flexibility in working hours and the ability to travel at least 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Research trends, topics and best practices in order to develop and deliver training programs using a variety of methods
  • Communicate with management and their agents to understand changes in policies, procedures, practices, regulations, business initiatives, technologies and the constantly changing business environment
  • Coordinate training programs with management across multiple departments
  • Develop and maintain workflow schedules communicated to agents and management
  • Responsible for content development and delivering required training programs
  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs and/or modify and improve existing programs
  • Prompt delivery and maintenance of training programs, curriculum, and learning paths
  • Partner with management to ensure all training requirements are completed on time
  • Build strong business relationships while communicating effectively with enrollment manager and department heads
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and temporary lead to provide real-time coaching
  • Understand and remain in compliance with company processes and procedures
  • Ensure the quality and quantity of task expectations are understood and met by the agents
  • Able to occasionally work other than typical work hours to meet high volume demands
  • Ability to travel (air and ground) 25% minimum on need basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in customer service
  • High School diploma and some college courses, college degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
  • Accuracy and the ability to handle responsibility with limited supervision
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well with numbers and work accurately with formulas
  • Proficient with 10 key by touch
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management skills
  • Good working knowledge of training resources and implementation and curriculum design
  • Ability to track and develop assessments to measure understanding and knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple demands successfully
  • Works well and independently with limited supervision
  • Must be able to plan for and meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to use all office equipment
  • Knowledge of advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
