Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and treatment goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical history.
• Administer acupuncture treatments using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients' progress throughout their treatment journey and adjust plans as necessary.
• Provide education to patients regarding acupuncture techniques, benefits, and self-care practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient service and care coordination.

Requirements

• Valid licensure or certification as an Acupuncturist in accordance with state regulations.
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience in acute pain management and overall pain management strategies.
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in acupuncture practices and techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge and skills for Chinese Herbal Medicine is a plus.
