About the position

NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn is seeking two acute care, critical care, trauma general surgeons to join their team. The role involves providing high-quality clinical care, participating in education and research missions, and collaborating with colleagues in a dynamic hospital environment. The ideal candidates will be board certified or board eligible, fellowship trained in trauma and critical care, and possess strong minimally invasive surgery skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care coverage.
• Participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in research activities across various interests including clinical, outcomes, health services, and global surgery research.
• Collaborate with hospital-wide committees to enhance patient care and departmental goals.
• Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients in the community.

Requirements

• Current NYS Medical License.
• Current Board Certification or Board Eligibility (American Board of Surgery) in General Surgery.
• Fellowship trained in Trauma and Critical Care.
• Strong Minimally Invasive Surgery skillset.
