About the position

The position is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will direct and coordinate all nursing care of patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. This role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery, ultimately achieving desired patient outcomes. The nurse will utilize knowledge of the patient's age and cultural diversity to provide care techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. As a temporary employee, the nurse must understand that travel away from their home state may be required for employment or continued employment with Client Recruitment. The role involves utilizing the nursing process in the provision of nursing care, which includes administering medications and treatments in compliance with physicians' orders and applicable hospital policies. The nurse will interpret diagnostic tests, formulate a plan of care, collaborate with other healthcare providers, and provide education to patients and/or significant others while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. The RN must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients of all age groups. This includes understanding the principles of growth and development throughout the lifespan, assessing data reflective of the patient's status, and interpreting the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's needs in relation to age. Documentation and charting of observations and other data related to the clinical condition of the patient are essential. The nurse must accurately report observations and activities related to patient care and communicate reports to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with hospital policy. The position requires performing all required and related duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
