About the position

The Advertising Operations Account Manager at Wayfair is responsible for managing digital advertising campaigns from inception to completion. This role involves setting up campaigns, monitoring their performance, and implementing improvements to ensure optimal results. The position requires collaboration with various teams to develop strategies for new advertising products, particularly the Sponsored Shops initiative, while focusing on enhancing supplier success through data-driven insights and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of digital advertising campaigns, including setup, trafficking, performance reporting, and optimization.
  • Implement campaign optimization strategies with a focus on improving ad performance and supplier satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and service levels to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Program & Product leaders to create an end-to-end operational strategy for the upcoming managed Sponsored Shops product offering.
  • Develop and continuously refine best practices to support the successful launch and long-term success of the new program.
  • Own and track key performance metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of campaigns and strategies.
  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights to optimize performance and meet supplier goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience within digital advertising campaigns, including setup, trafficking, reporting, and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of campaign optimization strategies and operational process improvements.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and track key performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Google G-Suite and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Media Sales/brand advertising sales experience preferred.
  • An ability to prioritize across short term and long term goals.
