About the position

The Ad Ops Specialist at Amazon plays a crucial role in maximizing the impact of advertising to attract warehouse associates. This position involves synchronizing efforts across various teams, ensuring ad campaigns align with marketing targets, and optimizing creative and channel strategies. The specialist is responsible for tracking campaign performance, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights to improve advertising effectiveness. This role also emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of ad serving platforms and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Implement tracking mechanisms such as IDs and tags to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure landing pages and assets are tagged correctly and have the right vanity URLs for each channel.
  • Coordinate with creative teams to meet ad specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage creative swaps for a seamless candidate experience between campaigns.
  • Generate and analyze reports to provide insights and recommendations to partners.
  • Support in developing business reviews to inform stakeholders and leadership.
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations and Finance teams for accurate spend tracking and budget management.
  • Ensure all digital advertising material aligns with campaign goals through quality assurance checks.
  • Test and implement new ad products and technologies to stay ahead in the field.
  • Stay current with trends in digital advertising, including programmatic buying and data privacy laws.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management
  • Experience with Ad Op tools including DSPs (DV360), Ad Servers, DCO tech
  • Experience in managing ads for digital channels (Paid Social, Display, Search), plus programmatic and traditional out of home
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
