About the position

The ADA Assessment Program Manager at MTM Transit is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ADA Paratransit Eligibility Center. This role ensures the effective delivery of ADA Paratransit Eligibility services in compliance with both MTM and client requirements. The Program Manager acts as a liaison between MTM and the client, ensuring contract compliance and high-quality customer service while managing a team of assessment professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management of direct and non-direct reports including the Assessment team members and support staff.
  • Establish a working relationship with the Client and act as a liaison to ensure their expectations are met.
  • Understand and interpret all aspects of the contracted program and serve as the team's Subject Matter Expert.
  • Maintain working knowledge of MTM and Client software.
  • Educate the Client on MTM procedures to ensure full compliance with the contract.
  • Review service delivery to ensure effective abilities assessments are performed.
  • Respond to ADA eligibility complaints and document responses appropriately.
  • Act as a mentor to new employees and assist with team development.
  • Conduct training for employees regarding new and ongoing processes and procedures.
  • Evaluate assessments and determinations with the assessment staff to ensure accurate results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Rehabilitation, Ancillary Health Care Profession, Business, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or a related field.
  • Must be a licensed occupational or physical therapist with experience in evaluating functional abilities.
  • 3+ years of professional experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Experience with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse individuals.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with the assessment process and making final determinations for eligibility.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience post licensure preferred.
