The Adaptive Sports Associate position at Spaulding Adaptive Sports Centers (SASC) is designed for individuals passionate about promoting active and healthy lifestyles for people of all abilities through adaptive sports and recreational activities. This role is crucial in facilitating various adaptive sports programs across the Cape Cod, Boston, and North Shore regions. The associate will work under the guidance of the SASC Cape Cod Coordinator and will engage in a hybrid working model that includes both remote work and on-site activities at regional locations. In this position, the Adaptive Sports Associate will assist operationally and programmatically with regional adaptive sports programs, which include cycling, tennis, kayaking, outrigger canoeing, and paddle boarding. The associate will be responsible for reviewing participant intakes to assess equipment needs for each session and will communicate directly with clients for necessary assessments. Ensuring that all equipment is in working condition, setting up prior to each session, and breaking down and packing equipment post-session are key responsibilities. Additionally, the associate will be required to load and drive Spaulding vehicles and trailers to various programming locations, ensuring a smooth operation of the adaptive sports programs. The role also emphasizes the importance of upholding the MGB Organizational Values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. The Adaptive Sports Associate will be expected to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the adaptive sports initiatives at SASC.
