About the position
The Algorithm Developer Intern position at Aptiv focuses on developing advanced algorithms for automotive technologies, particularly in the areas of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD). This role is designed for individuals passionate about cutting-edge technology and offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance vehicle safety and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms for ADAS / AD applications such as Vehicle State Estimation, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Centering, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
- Test algorithms in vehicles, perform data analysis, and debug in rapid-prototyping and/or embedded environments.
- Verify design and optimize performance in simulated and real-world environments.
- Document and report according to established development processes.
Requirements
- Master's degree (or currently pursuing) in Electrical / Computer / Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing algorithms in Simulink/Matlab/Stateflow.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics.
