About the position
The ADAS/Autonomous Vehicle Expert role at Robson Forensic involves utilizing extensive automotive engineering knowledge to provide expert analysis and testimony in civil litigation and insurance claims related to vehicle crash reconstruction and product liability. The position requires a deep understanding of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicle features, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team of experts.
Responsibilities
- Provide investigation and analysis for vehicle crash reconstruction and product liability cases.
- Prepare detailed reports and expert testimony based on technical findings.
- Utilize knowledge of ADAS features to assess system performance and specifications.
- Collaborate with a team of experts to deliver comprehensive solutions to complex engineering problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college.
- PE license preferred; must be willing to obtain if not currently licensed.
- 10+ years of general automotive knowledge and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the development and testing of ADAS features.
- Specific experience in ADAS system and/or component design and development.
- Working knowledge of ADAS/Autonomous features, including component level specifications and system level performance requirements.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
