We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mobile services, which include ADAS calibrations, diagnostics, connector/wire repair, programming, and relearns. This role requires walking service locations to identify and communicate necessary ADAS calibrations and other services to customers. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for sending service documentation to the billing department and assisting team members with challenging tasks. Maintaining a daily or weekly production quota and completing miscellaneous duties assigned by the dispatching team are also key aspects of this position. To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess a strong automotive background, particularly in servicing and diagnosing various automotive systems. A solid understanding of ADAS and electrical services is essential, along with exceptional communication skills. The candidate should be a continuous learner, eager to develop new skills and expand their knowledge for maximum career progression. The ability to remain productive in a busy automotive shop environment, along with a passion for the industry, is crucial for representing the ATE brand positively.
Responsibilities
- Performing Mobile Services including ADAS Calibrations, Diagnostics, Connector/Wire Repair, Programming, and Relearns.
- Walking service locations to identify and communicate ADAS calibrations and other services to customers.
- Sending performed service documentation to the billing department via communication platforms.
- Assisting subordinate team members on difficult tasks.
- Maintaining daily or weekly production quota.
- Completing miscellaneous duties as assigned by the dispatching team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of automotive background servicing and diagnosing all automotive systems.
- Strong technological skills, including Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.
- Strong working knowledge in ADAS and electrical services (calibrations, programming, diagnostics, wire/connector repair, etc.).
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Continuous learner seeking to develop new skills and expand knowledge for maximum career progression.
- Ability to remain productive with a great sense of urgency.
- Ability to stand for long periods in automotive shop environments.
- Energetic, motivated to produce, and passionate about the industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical diagnostic equipment: multimeter, power probe, resistors, etc.
- Ability to read and understand factory and non-factory service information.
- Ability to perform and analyze vehicle health analysis scans with factory and non-factory tooling.
- Ability to read and understand vehicle wiring schematics.
- Ability to perform wire/connector repair and/or replacement.
- Ability to program vehicles with factory or non-factory software.
- Ability to perform all level 1, 2, and 3 calibrations (Static & Dynamic).
- Ability to diagnose, correct, and verify all customer vehicle concerns.
- Ability to explain and communicate diagnosis both verbally and in written formats.
- A safe driving record and a valid Driver's License are required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
