Responsibilities
- Oversee development, validation, and testing of ADAS technologies.
- Coordinate hands-on activities and provide strategic oversight for development projects.
- Ensure successful integration of advanced driver-assistance systems.
- Prepare prototype vehicles for testing and troubleshoot system issues.
- Visit proving grounds, suppliers' engineering offices, and production locations as needed.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Electrical Engineering (EE).
- Minimum 3 years of automotive ADAS test engineering experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of vehicle dynamics and steering control functions.
- Experience in tuning vehicle control systems and requirements management.
- Hands-on mechanical ability and understanding of vehicle systems.
- Analytical skills for preparing vehicles for testing and troubleshooting.
- Valid driver's license required to operate vehicles on proving grounds.
- Proficiency in PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CANalyzer, and CANape.
