About the position

The Sales Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) for Emerging Markets is a freelance role focused on expanding business partnerships with local and regional restaurants in untapped markets. This position requires significant travel to meet with restaurant owners and negotiate revenue-sharing agreements, contributing to the company's growth strategy in the delivery space.

Responsibilities

  • Win new business across assigned geography
  • Manage a largely transactional deal cycle
  • Drive new partnerships with local and regional restaurants
  • Coordinate work with a Regional Sales Manager
  • Utilize sales tools including drop-off materials, gift cards, and business cards
  • Travel to emerging markets for face-to-face transactions

Requirements

  • 2.5+ years of experience in a closing sales role or related experience
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
  • Efficient and strategic with inside and outside sales tactics
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on building strategies and playbooks

Benefits

  • Base compensation of $32 W2
  • Commission for every new restaurant partnership, capped at $1750/month
