About The Position

The Addiction Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive care to patients struggling with drug and alcohol addiction at Recovery Centers of America in Sayreville, NJ. This role involves prescribing medication, conducting individual and group therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans. The physician will also engage with patients in various stages of recovery, including detox and outpatient services, while contributing to the alumni program to support graduated patients.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in addiction medicine or psychiatry.
• Valid medical license to practice in New Jersey.
• Experience in addiction treatment and recovery services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fellowship training in addiction medicine or psychiatry.
• Experience with outpatient treatment services.
• Knowledge of the latest addiction treatment methodologies.

Responsibilities
