Mirror Inc. is seeking dedicated Addiction Technicians to join our team at our Shawnee, KS residential facilities. Under the clinical supervision of the Facility Director or their designee, the Addiction Technicians will play a crucial role in monitoring client behavior and movements, transporting clients, and supporting the clinical programs and services offered by Mirror. This position is essential in ensuring that clients receive the necessary support and supervision during their treatment process. The Addiction Technicians will operate in accordance with the policies set forth by the Board of Directors and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including those established by the Kansas Department of Aging & Disability Services and other relevant contractual agreements. The responsibilities of the Addiction Technicians include supervising clients during assigned hours, monitoring group activities, and providing educational presentations as directed. Technicians will familiarize themselves daily with the status of each client, complete necessary orientation paperwork, and provide transportation for clients to various appointments. Maintaining client confidentiality and ensuring the safety of clients within the facility are paramount. Technicians will also be responsible for supervising urine specimen collection, maintaining accurate records of client behavior, and assisting clinical staff as needed. Participation in staff meetings and collaboration with counseling and administrative staff for compliance and audits are also key components of this role. This position requires a commitment to the well-being of clients and the ability to handle crisis situations effectively. The Addiction Technicians will be expected to assist in the collection of client fees and ensure that all official program communications and client-related materials are filed appropriately. The role may involve physical demands such as walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds, making it essential for candidates to be physically capable of performing these tasks.
