About the position

The Addictions Social Worker / Therapist position at Oaklawn involves providing mental health and addiction services to individuals and families in a supportive and collaborative environment. The role focuses on conducting comprehensive assessments, delivering evidence-based therapy, and developing individualized treatment plans while working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive assessments including risk and trauma.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment models.
• Join clients and families in developing strengths-based individualized treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team that includes the client, family, referral sources and/or other providers in a culturally competent and trauma-informed manner.

Requirements

• LSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A required. LAC-A helpful.
• LCSW, LMFT, LMHC preferred. LCAC highly recommended.
• Proof of graduation, diploma and transcripts.
• Candidates with or eligible for a temporary license will be considered at a pro-rated salary.
• Those willing to set a flexible schedule that includes some evening hours.
• Bilingual clinicians whenever available.
